This particular trip had me flying from San Francisco International Airport on Southwest Airlines at 7 a.m. That meant I needed to be at the airport at 5 a.m., leaving my house at 4 a.m. to make it to the airport on time. Hello Hyatt Regency San Francisco!
The Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport is actually located in Burlingame, California. The 24 hour complimentary airport shuttle runs continuously and is only a ten minute ride to San Francisco International Airport, depending on traffic. If you’ll be away for 10 days or less, I’d recommend purchasing a Hyatt Regency Park and Fly package. The price of the promotion will save you the $20. daily parking fee that Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport charges its guests.

While I’m not a Hyatt Regency Diamond Member, and additional $45 fee allows access to the ninth floor Regency level. Regency Club members are entitled to continental breakfast, mid-day service of fresh fruit, coffee, tea, bottled water and juice and evening access. Additionally, the Regency Club offered several computers for members use. Portico Spa bathroom amenities were featured in my room.
Regency Club members are also able to utilize the private fitness center with 24-hour access at the end of the hall.
Regency Club Room
Room #9018 was a non-smoking king with a small balcony – and I do mean small – looking out to the atrium. The atrium was a nice feature, as the water elements provided soothing white noise while I worked in my well lite work area. Internet access was available via T-Mobile for a $9.99 charge. You may charge your 24 hour day pass to your room or credit card.
Of the 789 guest rooms and 26 suites, my room rented for $219. not including tax. Be sure to check the web site for special promotions and rates, including the AAA rate. All rooms include Hyatt Grand Beds, iPod docking stations, access to the outside swimming pool, Stay Fit 24-hour gym and bath amenities. Those in the know will appreciate Hyatt’s Fast Board service, offering guests the opportunity to print boarding passes in the lobby prior to airport departure. The Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport also offers Swiftwater Cafe, Knuckles Sports Bar and Swiftwater Deli on site. Runners might enjoy the bayside jogging and bike paths nearby.
